Golden Retrievers

Golden Retrievers train easily to basic or advanced obedience standards. The Golden Retriever loves water and their coat repels water. They are well suited to residency in suburban or country environments. Golden Retrievers have been known to be trained as assistance dogs, as well as  hunting, detection and search and rescue dogs.  The weight of Golden Retrievers vary.  Males may range from 65-75 lbs, Females may range from 55-65 lbs. The breed is friendly, has a gentle temperament and is considered to be one of the top ten most popular dog breeds in the United States.  Golden Retrievers are intelligent dogs and are friendly and loyal to those that take care of them.
